The Church of St Mary at Easton Neston is in the Church of England's Diocese of Peterborough. It dates back to the 13th century, when the main Towcester to Northampton road ran alongside, and served the communities at Hulcote and Easton Neston where royalty, from Queen Elizabeth the First to Charles the First, stayed at the Manor House.

After enclosure, and the building close by of Easton Neston House, St Mary's became closely associated with the Fermor-Hesketh family and their staff. Today St Mary's is the Parish Church of Hulcote, Showsley and The Shires, Towcester.
